For over eight years, she attended numerous jazz, salsa, and ballroom dance workshops in Spain. In Cuba, where she has lived since 2000, she studied Folk Dance at the Teatro América and took several courses with the Compañía Nacional de Folclor, as well as with principal dancer Julio Miñoso of the J.J. dance company. She began teaching private salsa classes for foreigners, founding her own professional project, “La Casona del Son,” in 2011. She has alternated teaching dance classes at the Julia y Eva school in Barcelona (Spain), as well as salsa and other Cuban dance classes in Havana for more than 20 years. In 2021, he opened the European headquarters of “La Casona” in his homeland: Barcelona, Spain.
